The successful candidate will own the mechanical product design and collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition new medical device products into international markets.

About the Role:
The role will involve design and development of implantable electronic devices and delivery systems.
Responsibilities
In collaboration with contractors, design and development of
Implantable, Wearable & Peripheral: Medical Device Mechanics
Delivery Systems for various applications.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor / Masters / PHD in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
2 years of experience in a R&D capacity.
Experience in industrial design including Solidworks
Expertise in 3D Rapid Prototyping
Experience developing IP (intellectual property)
Experience in Biocompatible materials and coatings
Experience in Electronic BioMedical Safety Standards.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Desirable Requirements
Hands on industrial design experience
Experience in Clinical Trials
Experience in developing medical device products such as stents etc
Experience with implantable devices
Experience translating design concepts to finished products
Experience with quality systems

Experience in agile methodologies or iterative development approaches
Experience product design methodologies
Education and Experience:
Candidates must have at least 2+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on medical devices.

BioMedical Mechanical Design, electrode design, medical device design and manufacturing.
